# License and support

## Free use and modification

Regen Zone is distributed under the **Regen Zone Free Use and No Resale License, version 1.0**, included as `LICENSE.txt` in the project and plugin JAR.

You may run the plugin on any server, including a monetized server, and may copy, study, modify and redistribute it under the license. There is no activation requirement or paid feature tier.

You may not sell the plugin, modified versions, source code or documentation; put them behind a paywall; or include them in paid downloadable plugin bundles or server setups. Free redistribution must preserve the license and existing notices. Modified distributions must identify that they are modified and must not claim to be official without permission.

Independent hosting, administration or installation services may be charged for under the license's service provision, as long as the charge is for the service and the software remains freely available to the recipient under the same terms.

This is a source-available license with a no-resale restriction. It is not MIT and does not claim to be an OSI-approved open-source license. Third-party build tools and dependencies retain their own licenses.

The license file is the authoritative text. The software is provided without warranty as described there.

## Support

For questions, configuration help and bug reports:

<https://discord.gg/ECMCdamWsd>

Include the details listed in [Troubleshooting](/matt-docs/troubleshooting.md). Support availability and response times are not guaranteed by the license. Do not publish private credentials or full unredacted environment dumps.

## Release status

The 0.3.0 package includes source code, Gradle Wrapper, automated tests, verification results and this guide. API test results are documented separately from real-server validation. Before deploying to a busy server, test the settings and relevant interactions in a separate world or test server.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://matt-creppet.gitbook.io/matt-docs/license-support.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
